Mural Projects

Highland Arts Unlimited Community Arts Projects Committee is working on many projects for the Keyser, WV area. This year, we were funded by a grant from the US Wind Force Foundation, Inc. and donations.

Working with the new Mineral County Museum, a design was created to cover the waste container that sits near the front door of the museum. A request for mural designs from local artists was announced in spring 2019, and the project should be finished by mid-summer. The mural will depict the Twin Mountain Railroad with apples and peaches.

A number of smaller projects are also in the works. These include artists recreating children’s drawings of fish on the outside of the Keyser Pool building. A small mural is planned for the steps of the Kirkwood & Rogers Attorney building.
